It's Halloween! I love October, mainly because it's my birthday month but also because it's so fun to dress up and be somebody or something else for a change. Not to mention the CANDY! That's kind of the best part!
Wishing I was in Troy so I could dress up with my friends and have a grand ole time! Reminiscing on last year's Halloween party with my B3 girls...

Senior year was so fun but I've found fun is still to be had post-college. RSVP hosted a Halloween Party at Looney's Super Skate last week and it was a blast! The picture below shows some of us in our costumes. We were the "RSVP Rollers," a 70's roller derby team. I forgot how much fun skating could be and I'm already wanting to plan another trip to the rink!

We've also had a little Halloween fun in the office that has lasted the whole month of October. Cobwebs covering the vending machines, a floating broom in the hallway, bloody hands randomly placed are just a few pranks we've enjoyed. My favorite has been a stuffed cat that we placed outside our office door and employees from our floor started moving the cat to different places. It was fun to come in each morning wondering what nonsense the cat was up to that day! We also made fake legs and shoes to put in a locked stall so it looked like someone was in the restroom ALL DAY! It was hilarious to hear people talking about it in the hallway.

Office Halloween Pranks |
I'm pretty sad to see October go. I hope everyone stays safe during all the Halloween festivities. Go out there and make some memories today!
I've found myself in a pretty crazy whirlwind. Amidst planning a wedding and working my first "big-girl" job, it's safe to say this is a turning point in my life.
In the past year, I got engaged, graduated college, moved to another city and started working for an exciting social magazine. In the coming months, I'll get married, move to another state and begin looking for a new job. I'm definitely at a crossroads in my life and I wouldn't change a single thing.
Truly, madly, deeply in love with the same sweet fella for 7.5 years, I am so excited about starting our next chapter. He makes all the crazy, hectic, pull-your-hair-out wedding planning worth it.
The planning process has also made me realize the greatness of the loving support of my family. My mom has been so organized and has gone above and beyond to research, plan and prepare for our wedding and I am so thankful.
Looking back, I've realized how fast time has flown and I don't want to
forget anything about these exciting, changing times of the future. That
is kind of the purpose of this blog, the PDF files (inspired by my {soon to be} new initials: Peyton Dismukes Flowers) to journal my experience. So, thanks for stopping by and I hope you check back every now and then!
